New Tenants
PPL are here to help you find the perfect home. We have a wide range of high quality properties available, from 1 bedroom flats in the city centre to larger 5 bedroom houses in the surrounding areas. Whatever you are looking for, you will be sure to find something to meet your requirements.

Applying For A Property With PPL Is Simple
We will show you round the property and answer any questions you have. To submit a property application you (or a representative) must have viewed the property first in person or via video link. This is a great time to get a feel for the property and check it is the right fit for you.
What You Need To Rent With Us
In order to rent a property with us you must meet one of the following criteria:
- Tenants must have a combined annual salary of 30 x the monthly rent.
- If you are a student, you will be required to have a UK based guarantor with an annual salary of 36 x the tenants proportion of the monthly rent.
- If you are self-employed, we will require 3 years of accounts and a letter from your accountant.

Applications and References
We carry out reference checks through a third-party company who will assess the following:
- Credit check
- Bank validation check
- Financial sanctions check
- Employment check
- Current landlord reference
- Affordability calculation
Once the reference checks have been completed and are satisfactory, we will send you your Private Residential Tenancy agreement to review and sign electronically.

The next step to apply for the property is to complete our tenant application form. Please complete the form in full, the more information you can give us the better.
All applications are subject to approval from the landlord and satisfactory reference checks. If your application is successful, we will require a holding deposit to secure the property and remove it from the market. The holding deposit goes towards the full deposit and is fully refundable if the tenancy does not go ahead for any reason.
Guarantor Application Form
In some circumstances we may ask you to provide a guarantor in order to rent a property with us. This is someone (e.g. a parent or close relative) who is liable to pay your rent if for some reason you cannot pay it.
To act as a guarantor for a prospective PPL tenant, please complete the form below in full.
All applications are subject to the landlord’s approval and satisfactory reference checks.
